The process for ordering CAS professional engineering services has been made quite simple through the GSA.  Follow the steps below to begin working with some of the finest engineers available to solve all your engineering tasks.

Step 1) Review the ordering procedures

Through the GSA, the ordering procedures for services have been simplified to empower Federal agencies to cut through red tape and drastically reduce paperwork, time, and cost of money to the government. This is because the GSA has already negotiated the contracts and determined prices to be fair and reasonable. 

Step 2) Determine the "best value" for the task at hand

Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 8.4 suggests some considerations for determining "best value".  Other considerations may include:

• Past Performance
• Technical or Domain Expertise
• Subject Matter Knowledge of Contractor Personnel
• Delivery Schedule
• Contractor Proximity to Your Location(s)
• Management Approach

In addition to these considerations, cost is also a factor in determining "best value". Review CAS, Inc. labor rates and compare them to two Other FSS schedules.

As a customer you have maximum flexibility in deciding where you want to go to contract for CAS, Inc. professional engineering services. Of course we will work with you and which ever contracting activity you select.

• Your local acquisition center can contract with CAS using the GSA schedule.
• You can utilize the contracting activities at any one of the GSA Regional Centers.
